Aylesbury Junior Netball Club - 2020/21 SEASON

**AJNC Coronavirus Update**

Whilst it is great news that the return of community netball has now progressed to Stage 4 of England Netball’s Roadmap ( see link to pdf file at bottom of page) a lot of work still needs to be actioned to ensure the safety of all players, supporters and officials associated with the club is not compromised as and when the training sessions return on Saturday mornings.

Despite the significant progress being made by England Netball with support from the Government regarding the return of netball, albeit with modified rules relating to training and matches, AJNC are still reliant on Aylesbury High School allowing us to use their outdoor netball facilities. Currently Aylesbury High School have confirmed that they are not expecting to resume hiring of their facilities until after the half term break in October. Taking this into consideration the earliest we expect to return will be at the beginning of November and unless the Government allow England Netball to move to Stage 5 on their roadmap, we will also need to consider restricting the number of players/members in each age group, however this has not yet been confirmed.

A further update will follow as soon as Aylesbury High School have confirmed their plans.

Once again thank you for your ongoing support and patience at this challenging time.

Welcome to Aylesbury Junior Netball Club (AJNC)

Over 30 years AJNC has been encouraging girls from Year 4 up to Year 9 to enjoy playing netball whatever your ability. During this time over 3,000 girls have participated in the sport on a Saturday morning at either Bedgrove Park or at our new home at Aylesbury High School. Now that we have access to 4 fantastic outdoor courts, we now have the opportunity to extend this opportunity to Year 10 players as well.

Finally without the support from volunteers, AJNC would not have been possible and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have and continue to help make AJNC a success. New volunteers are always welcome - come and see one of the team for more information.
